Developing a Success Attitude

One of the keys to living a happy and productive
life is the attitude you develop toward life, meaning
what you focus on.

Winston Churchill stated, " Success consists of going
from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm."
Again it's all how you view your experiences and
the point of view you take.

It is said people who are successful do the things that
other people won't do. Things like setting goals, developing
an action plan, and taking positive action consistently
until the goal is reached.  Having that determination to
push forward no matter what others think, say, or do.

You also need to believe in yourself that you have what
it takes to achieve your desired outcome. To develop this
belief you need to continually try until you succeed making
this apart of your belief system building your confidence.
Each time you make an attempt analyze what happen,
what did you do that good or bad and make necessary
changes until you achieve a flawless performance.

Also don't let you mind run away with building up reasons
why I can't do it, it won't work, it's too much for me etc.
Ben Franklin, one of our country's wisest sages, said.
"90% of everything I worried about never happened,"
Develop a can do focus as you follow life's highway.

Remember " If it's gonna be it's up to me!"

As you keep taking positive action building positive thoughts
through spaced repetition you will make the positive changes
you desire and achieve your goals.

Also don't procrastinate " Don't put off for tomorrow what you
can do today."  Cause remember someday never comes so set
your plans and chart your course cause your ship is leaving,
so are you ready to take the  journey of a life time in the
ocean of success.

Your time is now!

Reflections on an Angel

Since this is the time of year we consider what we are
grateful for I want to write about the person who changed
my life for the better and I'll always be grateful that I
turned around in my seat at Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln
Center to see the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen in
my life who two years later would become my bride and
wife.

Patricia as I came to know her was much more than just
a beautiful face as she was a sparkling personality with
a loving and caring heart, a brilliant woman with a 210
I.Q. as well as a gifted artist with an powerful 5 octive
range voice in addition to being a talented actress, visual
artist, and poet.

She achieved some acclaim being named Bride of the Year
in 1990, name three times Woman of the Year by the
American Biographical Institute and twice Woman of the
Year by the International Biographical Institute as well as
numerous listings in Who's Who publications including
Who's Who in the World.

But to me Patty was the light of my world, the love of my
heart, and my eternal soul mate.  If there is such a thing as
love at first sight then it hit both of us really bad. Her radiant
personality drew in everyone she knew and totally put me
under her spell. She was an angel here on earth and we were
each others.

I lost my angel five years ago to cardiac arrest and the light
in my life has dimmed. Someday we will be together for
eternity and once again that light  in my heart will shine
bright forever.

Focus on Your Future

Many times when we're facing challenges whether
they be health, financial, or emotional, we may tend
to focus on the past or stay where we are accepting our
fate. We feel there is no hope for our future.

But we need to realize that we can change  and improve
our future if we develop the correct mind set to analyze
what caused our challenge and what steps we need to follow
to succeed .

If we haven't already developed it we need to focus on having
a positive can do attitude that if we look, search, and keep exploring
we can find the answers to our challenge.

I've recently read stories on women who developed MS and searched
for solutions to this horrid disease and overtime learned how to put
their symptoms into remission.

Or stories of soldiers who lost one or both legs to come back and climb
a famous mountain . Or a lone runner with a prosthetic leg run in the
Olympics.

It's all how you view things!  You can decide what outcome you want
and work to achieve it.
I know because like everyone else I've faced numerous challenges but I
keep focusing on the future with hope and determination  to find the
solutions to help me heal myself and walk again.

So we need to start to believe that all isn't lost and that you can have
a bright future if you become solution orientated , never give up,
and focus on your future.

The Road To Find Out

Back in the 1970's one of my favorite singer-songwriters
was Cat Stevens who sang a song called The Road To Find Out
which is song about going on a quest to learn wisdom and the
truth about who we are.

A couple of thousand years before another man with a beard said,
" Let him who seeks continue seeking till he finds. When
he finds he will become troubled ,when he becomes troubled
he will be astonished, and he will rule over all." His name was
Yeshua Ben Josef.

Both these wise men knew that to seek the truth one had to go
on a quest of self-discovery to gain true wisdom and insight.
Cause only then can we be certain of the truth of the knowlege
we've attained.

Today in our fast paced world, we don't seem to have the time
to search for answers to problems that may affect our lives. Some do!
I  recently read a story of a woman who had MS and whose
doctors weren't able to help her. She decided to start to research
about her disease and ten years later discovered the answers she
was looking for and put her symptoms into remission.

We need to realize to discover the truth about our world takes
time but can provide a deep knowledge, understanding, and
growth of our very soul.

We are told a number of things which we readily accept without
questionning so not truly knowing if in fact they where said for
our benefit or that of a select few.

You have a brain use it !

As you have time, explore your world, ideas, beliefs searching
to unlock the answers to better health, solid understanding, and better
interactions with others to build a more vibrant life.
The decision is yours.
