have felt they had the right to impose their beliefs,
perspectives, and points of view on the mass population.
Some claim their thoughts come from a higher source
that only they have direct contact and so must act as a
translator of this lofty message.
While there are others who because of their towering
intellect, superior thought processes, and yet modest
egos believed that they delivered the truth!
In our country, Thomas Jefferson, our 3rd President,
in his manuscript The Declaration of Independence
declared " That all men , and women, sorry ladies it must
of been a regretful omission, were created equal."
Well then, if we're all equal what is to say that your perspective
is any better than mine, now true there are differences in
educational background, life experiences, natural ability, and a like
but as Marcus Aurelius stated,"Everything we hear is an opinion
not fact. Everything we see is perspective not truth."
So truth is relative and relative to ourselves in our relationship to it.
It is an internal struggle that we pursue trying to come to grips with
and not an external mandate.
Hopefully everyone will come to grips with their internal truths and learn
the lessons taught by the great spiritual masters of the past.
As Socrates wisely spoke, " Know Thy Self!"
